I had a fantastic weekend visiting my family & friends in Cincinnati. It was spent with great company, great food, and great workouts! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend 🙂
My weekend in a nutshell..
My breakfast every morning consisted of Life cereal, blueberries & skim milk w/ coffee! I love breakfast with the parents 🙂

My workout of choice this weekend after venturing to 3 different gyms in 3 days…:
- 2 mile run
- 15 minute stair master
- 30 minutes elliptical
- this workout below:
I did 30 seconds of each, two times. I love it. It works your entire body, and REALLY gets you breaking a sweat.
Speaking of great food, tonight I made overnight oats & cinnamon raisin energy bites!
The overnight oats were very similar to my earlier recipe I posted, but I added raisins, almond butter and pumpkin pie spice! Yum! I think they’ll make a delicious breakfast 🙂

- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter. I used low fat peanut butter)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/3 cup raisins
Mix all ingredients together in medium sized bowl. Place in refrigerator for 30 mins. Make into balls and place back in refrigerator. Enjoy!
So easy, yet so delicious 🙂 And only about 100 calories per bite. Perfect pre/post workout snack!
My dinner tonight was a snack dinner! Cottage cheese, hummus, and delicious Kashi chips! Yum! (I ate about twice that is actually shown 😉 )
